| Being a native New Yorker, I grew up during the 60's in NYC hearing about this man. I guess you could say he was a legend for many of us. Over the years I had many opportunities to meet Larry at different events. I know he never considered me a personal friend, but he always made time to talk with me. It is with deep regret that I will no longer have the opportunity to just say "hi" and hear about his latest adventure or project, as he passed away on August 30, 2004 doing the thing he loved the best - riding.
